Eating sweet cheese, and searching for the madman in its shoe, it finds
A crowd, an endless stream of windows, all alive inside a beautiful cake

It spends infinities in thought
Says things like, “smother me in your feathers”
And through a slow process of suffocation, discovers its will
Its pasty white tongue bleats into the void
Days, hours, minutes, seconds

And it persists, waiting for the day when everything falls
The shoe relents, the cheese ripens
